Frequently Asked Questions
Why does it say "Measuring..." for a while?
iOS reports battery level in 5% increments. The app needs at least one level change to calculate wattage, so it may take a few minutes before the first reading appears.
How accurate is the wattage reading?
The reading is an estimate based on battery level changes over time. Longer charging sessions give more accurate results. The app works best when you charge for at least 10-15 minutes.
Why does the screen stay on while charging?
The app keeps the screen awake during active measurement to ensure continuous and accurate readings. The screen will return to normal auto-lock behavior when you stop charging or close the app.
What do the speed categories mean?
Charging speeds are color-coded based on wattage output:
- Fast Charging — 18W and above
- Charging — 10 to 18W
- Slow Charging — 1 to 10W
- Trickle — below 1W
How do benchmarks work?
Create a test with a battery range (e.g. 30% to 80%), then run it with different chargers. The app tracks each result so you can compare chargers side by side and find your fastest setup.
Does the app use any internet or collect data?
No. The app works entirely offline with zero data collection. All your charging history and benchmarks are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
